A LATE try consigned Cowley to a 27-20 Rugby Union defeat at home to Widnes SFC on Saturday. Their tries came from Dave Cottington, Darren Smith and Stu Hedley, with Gaz Leavesley adding two conversions. But the school's under 16s RL side defeated Haydock HS 22-4 in a St Helens Cup match.
