DETECTIVES investigating an alleged rape in Burnley have arrested a local man.
Shaun McKillop, 30, has been charged with the rape of a woman at a house in the south west area of Burnley and was due to appear before magistrates in the town today.
Detective Sergeant Peter Sim said: "An inquiry was launched following a complaint being made on Friday. As a result of those inquiries a man was arrested and charged."
