I AM researching my family history and wonder if readers can help with a query about Blackburn during World War Two.
My uncle was stationed with the Bomb Disposal Squad which was billeted at Atholl House in West Park Road, in about 1940, I believe.
He was later evacuated from Dunkirk. I am trying to find any information about this small group of soldiers whom I got to know as a very young child.
Where did they come from and where did they go after leaving Blackburn?
