BIRTHDAY girl Rebecca Croasdale celebrated her millennium milestone in style with a ride in a stretch limousine.

The 10-year-old became the first baby to be born at Queen's Park Hospital in Blackburn on New Year's Day a decade ago when she arrived in the world at 3.59am.

To mark the special anniversary her mum, Jane Croasdale, of Bedford Mews, Darwen, organised the surprise VIP trip for the youngster and five of her friends.

They were taken by Top Cats Limousines to a party at Pizza Hut in Blackburn.

Jane said: "Rebecca thinks it's great that her birthday was on Millennium Day. I wanted to do something extra special so she would always remember it."
