COMMUNITY groups want people to mark the millennium by offering some of their free time to help others.
Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) is looking for volunteers to help with one-off community events. The group is also on the lookout for photographers, artists and musicians. Some out-of-pocket expenses are available.
The CVS says volunteering can help people gain self-confidence, learn new skills and make new friends. Call Dorothy on 01254 600640.
