VOLUNTEERS are needed to take on new roles in the Ribble Valley.
The Volunteer Development Project is on the lookout for people to fill vacancies for musicians, dysphasia support and youth workers, sign language helpers, horse riding assistants, drivers, receptionists and fund-raisers at a variety of projects.
Development officer Amanda Foxley said: "Volunteering can provide you with work experience, training and an opportunity to meet new people and do something you enjoy. You'll be surprised at the opportunities available."
Anyone can call at the volunteer centre in Swan Mews, off Castle Street, Clitheroe, between 10am and noon from February 21 to 25 to find out more, or contact Amanda on 01200 422721.
