DEREK Lee Ingram got in a car and went drove after his girlfriend after they had argued at a wedding reception.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Ingram was a disqualified driver and when police breathalysed him he was more than double the legal drink-drive limit. Ingram, 27, of Glenfield Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, with excess alcohol and without insurance. He was given two years', disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay £55 costs.
Jonathan Jackson, defending, said Ingram had not intended to drive. When his girlfriend left after a row he decided to try to find her.
