A BAND and firm of solicitors raised £300 for the Only Foals and Horses Sanctuary at Oswaldtwistle, which is threatened with closure.
Local band 24-7, a trio from Rishton and Great Harwood, organised a charity evening at the British Royal Legion in Rishton. The proceeds from their performance, together with a raffle, raised £180.
Raffle co-ordinator Beverley Jenkinson, then approached her employers, Farleys Solicitors, who donated £120.
The sanctuary needs urgent funds by January 31to keep the premises at Redshell Stables, Haslingden Road.
