BIRTHDAY boys and girls from a Darwen school will have a double celebration when they help launch a revamped store.
Rebecca Johnson, Liam Holden, Joshua Cowell and Johnathon Gould, from Holy Trinity Primary School, will cut the ribbon at Somerfield in Church Street.
The youngsters all have their birthday on or near the reopning on Wednesday, February 16.
Manager David Fielding said: "We thought it would be fun to share our opening day with local children who are also celebrating.
"We have arranged a special present for each of them as a way of saying thank you for cutting the ribbon and getting us off to a great start.
"Everybody is looking forward to the opening and working in a new environment."
The major refurbishment of the former Kwik Save store includes improvements to the range of fresh produce, meats and ready made meals.
The layout has been altered to make it easier for customers.
