HIGH-rise flats in Blackburn could be set for a huge facelift if residents give their approval.
Residents on the Larkhill Estate could soon see refurbished flats, better security and a range of new community facilities, if they vote to approve a deal which has been struck between Blackburn with Darwen Council and the Salford Community Housing Association.
Two of the blocks of flats will be sold to the association if a majority of tenants vote for the deal in March.
Tenants at Bowland House will see improvements including new kitchens, bathrooms and heating.
Ribble House will be demolished and current tenants offered £1,900.
