STANLEY made it six wins in a row with an impressive display against mid-table Harrogate Town.

A crowd of more than 500 saw Mark Ceraolo and super sub Jimmy Bell both score twice as the Reds kept up their promotion hopes.

Stanley went in front after 20 minutes, Shirley playing the ball to Ceraolo in the penalty area, who turned smartly and fired the ball beyond Stancliffe. Accrington increased their lead when Shirley played a good ball to Brett Baxter, who struck a fierce low shot.

Stanley were just as impressive in the second half when Hollis and Coleman combined well to create a scoring chance for Ceraolo whose goal-bound shot was blocked by Stancliffe's legs.

Ceraolo should have scored on 54 minutes when Shirley made an excellent run down the left wing and crossed to Ceraolo, who was unmarked, but headed wide of the goal.

Assistant manager Jimmy Bell was introduced on 62 minutes and four minutes later he scored the Reds' third goal. Shirley's cross from the left was dropped by Stancliffe and Bell reacted quickly to score from close range, his first goal for Stanley.

Bell had a hand in Stanley's fourth goal when he his shot hit the post and was turned into the net by Ceraolo - his 13th goal of the season.

Bell netted his second goal and Stanley's fifth on 74 minutes, pouncing on to a wayward pass and blasting the ball past Stancliffe.

Stanley will be looking to make it seven consecutive wins tomorrow night when they take on Premier Division leaders Leigh RMI at the Crown ground in the Marsden Building Society Lancashire Trophy with a 7.45pm kick off.
