CONCERN was growing for five missing teenagers today, amid fears that they may have been taken by surprise by bad weather.
The gang, who all live in Huncoat, Accrington, were last seen riding their bikes yesterday and are believed to have a tent.
Hugh Scott, 14, of Bolton Avenue, Anthony and Katie Donnelly, 14, of Edgar Street, Shane Merry, 14, and Simon Daly, 13, both Towneley Avenue, may be camping in Huncoat or Accrington.
A relative of Hugh Scott has told the police the gang have previously camped out in the Edisford Bridge area of Clitheroe.
A police spokesman said: "Because of the current inclement weather, we are concerned that these youngsters should be at home."
