THE chairman of East Lancashire's doomed training and enterprise body has resigned suddenly.
Roger Collinge, an accountant at BDO Stoy Hayward in Bacup, confirmed today that he had resigned from the board of ELTEC but said he did not think it right to comment on the reasons until after the board met today to discuss the situation.
ELTEC is due to be wound up next year with its role being replaced by a Lancashire-wide Learning & Skills Council and an East Lancashire Small Business Service.
