A MAJOR investigation into dental treatment in East Lancashire was launched because of the flood of practitioners leaving the NHS.
The East Lancashire Health Authority launched a major survey into levels of NHS dental care available in the area.
It hoped to present a report on the subject to the March meeting of the District Health Authority.
