MAY I say a big thank-you to Neil Summersgill for his heavy workload in producing a local book 'The History of Mellor,' for the millennium.
It has given many expatriates of Mellor ('Poots') immense pleasure and nostalgia.
It is brilliant and should put him on the next MBE list for he has certainly given service to the community.
