A CAR dealership is celebrating a multi-million pound management buyout which will herald an expansion.

The Horners Motor Group, which has dealerships in Burnley and in Manchester, has been bought from existing chairman Robert Jackson. The buy-out was led by new chairman and managing director Richard Haytack, 40, who has been with the group 14 years.

"The management buy-out gives us an opportunity to follow through with further expansion plans to be supported with an increase in jobs at all three Horners outlets," said Mr Haytack.

The group employs 150 people at its three garages including Burnley which has a dual Fiat and Rover franchise.

Advisors to the management buy-out team were the Blackburn offices of Pierce Chartered Accountants and Forbes Solicitors.
