A 47-YEAR-OLD woman confronted a thief who threw a stone through the window of her house in Brunswick Street, Nelson, at 5.20pm on Monday.
The offender had stacked property at the back of the house ready to take away when he was confronted by the woman. The thief ran off leaving the property, apart from a savings books.
He was Asian, 20 years old, of slim build, with a straight fringe, and was wearing a black leather jacket.
