FIVE streets off the A666 in Darwen will be closed to cars from February 14 while repairs are carried out to water mains.
The streets involved are:
Bright Street, from its junction with Duckworth Street for a distance of 20 metres. An alternative route has been suggested along Durham Road, Avondale Road and Duckworth Street.
Dove Lane. An alternative route has been suggested along Duckworth Street and Heys Lane.
Heys Lane. An alternative route has been suggested along Duckworth Street and Dove Lane.
Charles Street. An alternative route suggested along Peabody Street and Edward Street.
Vale Street. An alternative route has been suggested along Grime Street and Robert Street.
