IN response to the recent complaints from pensioners regarding pensions and heating gift tokens, I would like to say they should stop their carping and enjoy their retirement, living off the backs of the likes of me.
They have had 50 or so years in which to save in an era that was nothing like as expensive as it is today.
Video machines, computers, washing machines etc were not an option for them to buy.
My house is not as warm as I would like, but I am taxed so heavily I have to make do with an extra jumper. This country does not owe you a living.
