Managers and secretaries at BAE Systems agreed to take part in a sponsored pot wash in the Pendle Restaurant at Samlesbury site.

"I never realised how tiring it would be. I knew the restaurant was very busy during lunchtimes but I had no idea there would be so much washing up!" said site general manager Stuart Mellor.

The event raised more than £600 for Leukaemia Research and the final figure raised which will be matched by the company.
