AN inquest has been opened into the death of Doreen Yates, 75, of Mallard Place, Oswaldtwistle, who died on Saturday after being involved in a road accident in Union Road, on January 12.
Mrs Yates was treated in Blackburn Infirmary, but was subsequently discharged. The inquest was adjourned until May 3.
