A CAR and lorry collided on the Shuttleworth Hall link road, at the end of the Padiham by-pass, yesterday. The Peugeot 405 was driven by Yvonne Townsend, 40, who was taken to Burnley Hospital with minor back injuries and shock.
The lorry was driven by Kenneth McGough, 56, of Russell Terrace, Padiham, who was uninjured.
