FURNITURE-to-curtains retailer Rosebys - which operates a string of shops across East Lancashire - has unveiled plans to change its image with a name change to the trendier-sounding Homestyle Group.

But the Rosebys name will remain on Britain's high streets, along with the company's Bensons Beds, Fabric Warehouse and Knightingales store brands.

Rosebys is borrowing the new holding company name from one of the chains of stores it bought in November.

The group paid £15.3million for 270 Homestyle and Fads stores and is currently in the process of relaunching many of them as Bensons or Rosebys.

Chief executive Michael Rosenblatt said the new name would "better reflect the scale and focus of our business."
