A YOUTH concert audience put £215 into a collection basket for the Mozambique flood relief appeal.
Nelson Civic Junior Choir and East Lancashire Youth Orchestra drew a near-capacity audience for the concert at St Thomas's Church, Barrowford.
Each organisation made £225 for their own funds from admission and the raffle.
The choir's programme ranged from Ave Verum Corpus to a Lion King medley, and the orchestra's items ranged from Beethoven and Strauss to the Dambusters.
The choir and orchestra combined for highlights from the musicals Oliver and Les Miserables.
Nelson Civic Junior Choir is appearing in another joint concert, featuring Pendle Youth Orchestra, on Sunday March 19 at St Peter's Church, Burnley, at 2pm.
