A DAY'S fly fishing on the River Wharfe, clay pigeon shooting or a scuba diving session are among the unusual items that will go under the hammer when a Pendle high school PTA stages an auction of promises.
The event will be held at the Good Night Club, Stanley Street, Nelson, on March 16 to raise money for Fisher-More RC High School, Colne.
It has been organised by the school's Parents, Staff and Supporters Association and is open to the public. The event will begin at 7.30pm and tickets cost £1.50, which includes a pie and peas supper and disco.
