They also met at the Stoops and Hargher Clough community centre to start up a new child minding support group and to re-launch their toy library.
It was all part of the town-wide Childminders Support Project, which is funded by Burnley's Challenge Fund, the European Social Fund and managed by New Era Enterprises, in partnership with Burnley College and Social Services Inspection Unit.
Amy Fairfield, two, is pictured playing at the centre.
