A TEENAGER led police on a chase at speed, went through red traffic lights and ended up crashing into a roundabout.
Burnley magistrates heard how William Murphy, 18, clocked up speeds of between 50 and 60mph in a 30mph zone, twice lost control and ran off after hitting the roundabout in Nelson.
Murphy, of St Mary's Avenue, Barnoldswick, was bailed until March 28 for pre sentence reports and was told by the bench all options would be open.
He had admitted dangerous driving, no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence.
