A DRAMA that spotlights the importance of an education scheme is touring Pendle high schools.
The show, by Nelson and Colne College drama students, looks at the importance of the national Compact scheme, which aims to prepare year ten pupils for the work-place by covering five areas: attendance, punctuality, work experience, records of achievement and a personal action plan.
The Education Business Partnership, which links schools to the world of work, teamed up with the college, and theatre studies students put together the light comedy as part of their exam work.
Pictured with drama student Tim Hudson (centre) are Edge End High School pupils Chris Bithell and Marcia Hussain.
