A WOMAN was robbed by two men as she went to collect wages from a bank near Eanam, Blackburn.
The middle-aged woman had £1,000 stolen from her in the attack, shortly before 4pm, in Gate Street, Copy Nook.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward and say the woman was badly shaken by the experience.
The two muggers were both Asian and in their early 20s. One of the men 5ft 10in, well built, had shoulder length hair, was wearing dark clothing and spoke with a Lancashire accent.
His accomplice was 5ft 8in, slim and was also wearing dark clothing. Anyone who saw the incident should contact Blackburn CID on 01254 51212.
