AN East Lancashire Gulf War hero's attempt to break new legal ground and claim race discrimination has been postponed while an internal Army investigation is completed.
Nasar Khan, 34, of Blackburn, claims he was the victim of racism from the day he joined the Army in 1988 and that he has since received racist mail and phone calls.
An industrial tribunal in Manchester had been due to hear Mr Khan's case yesterday, but it was postponed.
Mr Khan, of Whalley Old Road, Little Harwood, today said the tribunal would not proceed until a meeting of the Army Council had reported its findings.
A new date for the tribunal hearing has not yet been set.
