A 45-YEAR-OLD man lost a finger and fractured several bones in his hand as he worked on a vehicle at the former Calderstones Hospital site in Whalley.
The man was flown to Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance and has undergone micro surgery for his injuries.
The accident happened at 2pm on Monday.
