TWO colleges in East Lancashire were hit by strikes during a wave of industrial action in the North West.
Lecturers from Burnley College and Accrington and Rossendale College were manning "peaceful protests" outside the gates, as part of a protest by the National Association of Teachers in Further and Higher Education.
