A CELEBRATION lunch yesterday recognised the contribution and achievements of women in Blackburn and Darwen over the past 100 years.
Baroness Barbara Castle was guest of honour at the Women of The Century lunch in the Windsor Suite, King George's Hall, Blackburn, attended by more than 200 women.
