EVERY year-nine pupil at Pleckgate High School, Blackburn, has completed the Save a Life course, organised by the British Red Cross as part of their health education studies.
Sue and Lindsay Smith, of the British Red Cross, made 25 visits to the school to train the pupils in a programme of lessons which started in October 1999.
Each pupil has received a certificate.
The school's tutor group 9WK has raised almost £400 for the special care baby unit at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn, by organising a Valentine message service, which raised £80, and taking part in a cross country run, which raised about £300.
