WORSHIPPERS at a church which is just yards away from the home of Blackburn Rovers are expected to flock to a sport themed service on Sunday.
Guest speaker is former professional footballer Graham Daniels, who played for Cardiff City and Cambridge United. He now works for the organisation Christianity in Sport.
The service, at St Bartholomew's, Ewood, starts at 7pm.
The Vicar, the Rev Ken Howles, said: "We are the ideal church to stage a sports service, being so close to Ewood Park.
"Football fans can watch the Blackburn and Crewe game and then take part in the service.
"Everybody is welcome and they can even come in football kits if they like."
