I SEE the killjoys are at it again. Flushed with the success of their millennium fireworks display at an undisclosed site because of public safety, Blackburn with Darwen Council now move on to karaoke and pub entertainment, again in the interest of our safety.
How on earth can they equate this with roads badly lit with many street lights out for weeks, potholes anywhere you choose to look and non-existent road markings?
If the faceless wonders in the town hall care about the townspeople's welfare and safety, surely, they should be concentrating on real issues and leave the public to enjoy themselves.
I feel that, come election time, councillors are due for a rude awakening when, hopefully, the voters will show their displeasure.
