A PEDESTRIAN was injured as he tried to cross Infant Street, Accrington, yesterday.
Ernest Frohnapfel, 74, of Hollins Lane, Accrington, was driving a Toyota when the accident happened at 11.15am.
Christopher Burke, 20, of Townley Avenue, Huncoat, suffered cuts and bruises and was taken to Accrington Victoria Hospital.
