TWO people needed hospital treatment following a road accident involving three vehicles in Brown Street, Accrington.
Jean McGuinness, of Hastings Close, Blackburn, and Lorraine Furlong, of Rhodes Crescent, Rochdale, were taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary with whiplash.
Accrington police said an HGV driven by Jason Clemence, of Rochdale, shunted into the back of a Fiat driven by Ms Furlong. She went into the back of a Ford Escort estate driven by John McGuinness, of Lanark Street, Burnley, with Jean as passenger.
The injured people were discharged from hospital after treatment.
