A TRIO of workers at an aerospace factory bowled over cricket star Ian Botham.
The employees in the fabrications department at BAE Systems at Samlesbury presented Ian with a cricket bat they manufactured out of copper and brass.
Mark Evans, 20, Michael Wilson, 19, and Steven McGuinness, 18, decided to produce the bat to mark Ian's walk from Land's End to John O'Groats in aid of the Leukaemia Research Fund. Employees from BAE Systems sites across the country supported Ian throughout the walk.
