EASTER promises to be eggstra-special at Samlesbury Hall, with two eggciting exhibitions opening today.
The first features all kinds of Easter-related items, including wooden eggs turned from exotic hardwoods, handpainted and decorated eggs, egg cups and the usual Easter bunnies and chicks.
And not forgetting the chocaholics out there, for there may even be a glimpse of the more traditional Easter eggs.
The exhibition ends on Monday April 24.
"Wood-In-Its Natural State' features craftsman-made items using all kinds of wood in its natural, organic state and finishes on Sunday, May 7.
Samlesbury Hall is open every day, except Mondays, but including Bank Holiday Monday, from 11am to 4.30pm.
Entrance is £2.50 for adults and £1 for children.
