POLICE released an identikit picture of an intruder who burgled a pensioner's home while she was asleep.
The 79-year-old woman was in her house in the Whalley Road area of Accrington when the burglar was seen leaving the house between 6.30am and 6.45am last Friday.
It is believed he got into the house through an unlocked door.
Then he escaped with a shopping bag and contents worth £31.
The pensioner only realised she had been burgled when she woke and realised her bag was missing.
The burglar is said to be 6ft tall and aged between 26 and 30.
He has black hair and looked as though he had no front teeth. He is thin and was wearing a black zip-up bomber jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
