THE family of a seven-year-old boy who plunged 20ft through a mill roof today revealed that he is improving in hospital.
Morley Seddon, of London Terrace, Darwen, is suffering from serious head injuries. He had been playing on the roof of Kay Street Mill on Thursday evening. The Sudell Primary School pupil is being treated in the intensive care unit at The Royal Manchester Children Hospital in Pendlebury. His family, including dad Keith of London Terrace, is keeping a bedside vigil.
Morley's grandad Bill Seddon, also of of London Terrace said: "He is showing improvement but is still not out of danger.
"All the signs are positive at the moment. He really deteriorated after the accident and we thought we were going to lose him.
"It is still early days and we don't know if there has been any permanent damage. We would like to thank everybody for their support."
