THREE East Lancashire entrepreneurs are preparing to do battle against the best in the North West.
Dawrulmulk Patel and Hasmat Ali Munchi, of Accrington, and Donna Louise Hallerton, of Blackburn, are among the regional finalists in the Shell Live Wire Young Business Person of the Year Awards.
The awards are aimed at 16-30-year-olds who have set up their own businesses.
Dawrulmulk, 22, and Hasmat, 21, run the Vision Eyeland Optical Practice in Accrington and Donna, 26, runs job agency 1st Class Recuitment.
The regional finals are being held on April 20 at the Manchester Airport Hilton and the winner will pick up a cheque for £1,000 and go through to the national final which carries a top prize of £10,000.
