RAISING funds to help MS sufferers will be a piece of cake this year.
On Friday, April 14, a Leigh woman will host a fund raising event to help sufferers from the debilitating disease and their families.
Mrs Eileen Postlewaite is inviting everyone to join her for a slice of cake, in return for a small donation, at an MS Cake Break at Kingsleigh Methodist Church from 9am to noon.
Over half a million people nationwide are expected to join in the Multiple Sclerosis Society event, which it is hoped will help make life easier for people with MS, their families and carers and ultimately through medical research make their hope of a cure become reality.
