TEACHER Janet Benyon is all set for a royal appointment after receiving a letter from Buckingham Palace inviting her to an evening reception as recognition of achievement in school as PE co-ordinator and Community Links Officer.
Janet, who teaches Year 5 children at Queens Park Primary School, Rivington Road, will attend the reception at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday, May 3. She told the Star: "I was nominated by the Local Education Authority inspectors and advisers for recognition of my work with the community links and it came as a great surpise when I read the letter. I'm really looking forward to the evening.
