ATHERTON fish merchants, game dealers and fruit and veg suppliers J & G Taylor are celebrating 55 years of serving-up fresh fare.
The Market Street business sells fish brought in daily from Scottish and English ports. They also serve-up fish flown-in from Iceland and to cater for traditional Good Friday dishes, plus less common tuna, marlin and swordfish from Indonesia, the Atherton shop will be open tomorrow until 1pm.
Pictured on the firm's market stall are fishmongers including Emerson Taylor (second from right) - grandson of the founder. NON
