PATRIOTIC Athertonians are to honour St George's Day in style this year.
Celebrations start as soon as the doors open at the Railway, Bag Lane, on Sunday, April 23.
There will be an all day disco with legendary Scooter rally DJ, Digger spinning the sounds from the traditional English cults from Teddy Boy through to Mod and punk rock.
The event is being run by the pub in conjunction with Bolton Spartans' Scooter Club and the organisers of Ginger's Easter Egg run.
Ginger Lawton said: "With an organisation team like that people are guaranteed the best St George's Day celebration yet.
"Let's show other countries how to celebrate St George's Day the English way."
