A NEW partnership is hoping to give a boost to Blackburn's music scene by setting up a venue in the town centre where local bands can rehearse.
Paul Morris, 31, of Revidge Road, and Guy Pople, 28, of Cornelian Street have joined forces to launch the project and are hoping to attract interest from younger bands who find it difficult to rehearse.
The venue would provide four soundproof rehearsal rooms with a possibility of recording sessions at an extra cost. Equipment hire would be available, as well as refreshments.
Paul said: "We're hoping younger musicians who are at school or college and don't have much equipment could come along."
The pair are searching for a suitable venue. They are hoping for positive feedback. Anyone interested should contact Paul on 01254 54130.
