THE organisation regarding the Rovers v Manchester City game on Sunday was quite appalling, with many questions requiring answers.

Why did the club allow so many Manchester City supporters to purchase tickets in the Walkersteel stand and Jack Walker stand? Or was this also a case of season ticket holders selling their tickets and making a quick killing?

Why did the police and stewards wait 20 minutes before at last moving the standing Manchester City supporters from the concourse at the front of the Walkersteel stand?

Why was no action taken about the Manchester City supporters running wild in the Walkersteel stand reserved for home supporters?

Chief Superintendent Eddie Walsh appealed for spectators to stay off the pitch, saying it constituted a criminal offence and spectators would be arrested and placed before the courts.

How many of the thousands of Manchester City supporters who invaded the pitch at the final whistle were consequently arrested?

The final day of the season was completely ruined by the total ineptitude of the club, the police and the stewards.

With this kind of administration, the club do not need my support and for the first time in 20 years I will not be purchasing a season ticket next season.
