ENGLAND'S dreams of making the European Under 21 Championship final ended in heartache last night.
Howard Wilkinson's men lost 2-0 to host nation Slovakia, which meant they even missed out on the third place play-off.
Rovers midfielder David Dunn made his second full start but was replaced by Aston Villa's Lee Hendrie at half time.
Matt Jansen was also part of the squad but did not feature in the game.
